Ed Yourdon's
Times Square Time Bomb 2000
(The Animation)

Revised February 9, 2000

Surprise, surprise--I chose Microsoft Image Composer to create the graphics used in this animation. To build the animation and optimize it for the Web, I relied on Macromedia Fireworks, my favorite software for preparing graphics for the Web.

Here's what would have happened if Ed Yourdon's Time Bomb 2000 drops on NYC!

This animation is my attempt at a bit of humor, but Yourdon's views on Y2K were quite serious. For more information, you might want to read his book: Time Bomb 2000: What the Year 2000 Crisis Means to You or visit Yourdon's Web site.
