I used Microsoft Image Composer to jaz up the photo used in this animated graphic. Then I used Macromedia Fireworks, my favorite software for preparing graphics for the Web, to animate the image and optimize it for display on the Web.

 J.D. Hildebrand, editor extraordinaire, likes nothing better than to play a joke on his friends and co-workers. Here's one of his favorite ways to liven up a dull meeting.
