Products We've Photographed and Described
"Your write ups and photos are wonderful. I am impressed."
We often write product descriptions to to accompany several photos, including close-ups, in order to describe
fully our clients' products in both pictures and words. When describing antiques
and collectibles, as shown here, it is especially critical to disclose even
minor flaws and damage.
In each of these
examples of our work, we have selected a single photograph and condensed the
description into a single paragraph.
Vintage 5-piece Set Weiss Costume Jewelry
This beautiful 5-piece set of red and pink Weiss costume jewelry probably dates to the 1940s.
Each piece is in excellent condition with no discernable flaws. The necklace measures 16.5" in length. A sturdy hook
closes the necklace securely. The 1" earrings contain the "WEISS" mark on the underside. The bracelet is 7.5" long with
a chain clasp. The 2" brooch is completely red in color.

Susie Cooper Teapot & Sugar Bowl, Art Deco, 1930's
This stunning Susie Cooper Teapot is of the Kestrel shape, an art deco design manufactured in the mid 1930's.
Including the lid, it is 5 inches high and 7 inches from handle to spout. The colors are vibrant and the teapot
is in excellent condition, with no chips or crazing. It has the leaping deer mark, which was used from 1932
to 1964. The teapot has a hairline crack in the opening—a common problem in this design because the lid
has a tab that keeps it from easily falling off the pot, but which can bump if not removed carefully. The
hairline does not show with the lid on.

1950s Wind Up Knitting Cat in Original Box
This wind-up toy, made in Japan during the 1950s, still works! The busy little cat
measures about 6" tall in her seated position and is in excellent condition. The toy has a minor crease in
the paper base, but this crease doesn't show when the cat is on display. The original box is in very good
condition, but shows minor signs of aging and use.

Vintage Madonna of the Chair Framed Print
This beautiful framed print of Rafael's Madonna of the Chair is a full 26" in diameter. The print
carefully renders the rich colors Rafael used to realize his masterpiece. As you can see, the round painted frame complements
the predominant colors of the print. The frame has minor crack marks in some sections. There are also some small
flaws on the edge of the print that were probably caused during framing. Some of the paper in the back of the frame has
started to peel.
